Vision

Consisting of a digital camera and controlling software, the Cytogration Vision system is required on all systems using SnapWell® plates and optional on all others.

When used with SnapWell® plates, Cytogration Vision determines the orientation of spoked inserts. By working with the robotic arm to orient plates, the dispensing needle and aspiration tip are able to access wells without interference.

On other systems, Cytogration Vision can be used to check for gross contamination of individual membranes. Where contamination is widespread, the system can notify the operator and the run can be aborted. Lower levels of contamination can be detected by the optional TEER value measurement system.
