24/7 System Monitoring & Notification

Since Cytogration systems are designed to run continuously and unattended through the selected protocol, all critical functions and parameters are monitored constantly.

For example, if the medium is low or its temperature varies beyond acceptable limits, the system will automatically place itself in a safe mode, sound an audible alarm, and auto-dial up to four telephone or pager numbers. The auto-dial feature is programmed to continue dialing until it receives a verification code from a qualified technician, eliminating false contacts from voice mail and out-of-range pager or cell phone messages.

Combined with TEER Measurement and/or Vision capabilities (standard on some systems and optional on others), auto-dial notification has the potential to save significant time and expense by allowing you to abort runs that would otherwise result in a low yield of viable membranes. TEER and Vision have the ability to verify the integrity of growing membranes. Should a condition occur that renders a threshold of membranes unusable, the system will notify you and await your instructions.
