Robotic Arms

Cytogration systems feature the state-of-the-art CRS 465 robotic arm in fixed or rail-mounted configurations.

Typically, the fixed arm is used in smaller, feeder-only systems where expansion beyond a single incubator (168 plates) is not anticipated.

The rail-mounted configuration is recommended for all coater/seeder/feeder systems and necessary for all systems utilizing more than one incubator. The standard 3- meter rail length permits access to up to 504 plates in three incubators (see schematic).

Since conversion from fixed mounting to rail mounting requires significant system downtime and expense, we strongly recommend you carefully consider your future needs.
